PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce difference in an image SD between imaging volumes in an X-ray computer tomographic apparatus automatically detecting a tube current from an X-ray absorption index value.SOLUTION: A trestle 10 emits X-rays from an X-ray tube 131 with respect to a plurality of imaging volumes arranged along a body axial direction, and detects the X-rays emitted from the X-ray tube 131 and transmitted through a subject S, with an X-ray detector 151. An X-ray absorption index value calculation part 413 calculates an X-ray absorption index value with respect to the amount of the X-ray absorbed by the subject S for each of the plurality of imaging volumes on the basis of scanogram data on the subject S with respect to a prescribed imaging direction. A tube current determination part 415 determines a tube current value corresponding to the X-ray absorption index value with respect to each of the plurality of imaging volumes. A tube current correction part 421 corrects the tube current value in accordance with a relative relation of the X-ray absorption index value for each of the plurality of imaging volumes to the X-ray absorption index value of a reference volume with respect to each of the plurality of imaging volumes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
