The standard size of an AA battery is taken into consideration. With design of the casing of the AA battery unchanged, there would be enough room for a small battery cell to fit inside the casing. With majority of the space taken up by the battery cell, a USB (Universal Serial Bus) connector will be attached to the casing of the USB-battery, and respectively will be connected to the battery cell for charging. After the USB-battery is (re)charged, and after electrical chare is stored inside the battery cell within the core of the USB-battery, two electrical connectors, attached to the battery cell within the USB-battery will feed the positive and negative end of the USB-battery to be used in portable devices. Majority of the AA batteries will be bought, used, and disposed of by the customers. On small scale this is no problem to be considered, however in bigger scale, wrong disposing of batteries, could and has been a threat to the environment and human health. USB-Battery, overcomes this problem by offering a solution that could be cost effective, and environmentally friendly. |
