The present invention relates to an apparatus for calling attention, calling a driver of a vehicle attention regarding a moving obstacle when the vehicle enters a crossing of a cross road to which a drive road on which the vehicle runs accesses and the drive road, in a left pass area. The apparatus for calling attention includes an electric control unit (ECU) (2). The ECU (2) calls the driver attention regarding the moving obstacle when it is determined that a path of the moving obstacle intersects with a cross determination range; and sets the cross determination range of which a length is short in a forward-backward direction of the vehicle in comparison with a right moving direction of the vehicle when the moving direction of the vehicle is left. |
