PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning appliance with a charged-particle generator, which sufficiently exhibits a desired effect of the charged-particles generated by the charged-particle generator.SOLUTION: A cleaning appliance includes a fan, a dust collector, an intake port body 2, a pipe, a charged-particle generator 6, a detector 7, and a controller. The pipe connects the dust collector and the intake port body 2. The charged-particle generator 6 generates a positive ion and a negative ion as the charged-particles. The detector 7 detects dust passing through the pipe. The controller detects the dust detected by the detector 7. When the dust is detected, the controller controls the charged-particle generator 6 such that the fan is operated to mix the charged particles in air passing through the pipe. |
