PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming resin packing cushioning material 10 which can be stored in an exterior box 30 in a looseness nonexistent state while being easy in storage work to the exterior box 30 and can surely avoid even the occurrence of deformation in an article storage space 20 after being stored, and a packing material A composed of a combination of the packing cushioning material 10 and the exterior box 30 for storing the packing cushioning material.SOLUTION: A packing cushioning material 10 comprises an article storage space 20 partitioned by a bottom surface 11, a peripheral sidewall 12 and a partition wall 13, and a proper number of ribs 14 extending in the vertical direction are formed in a position opposed to the partition wall 13 in an outside surface of the peripheral sidewall 12. The respective ribs 14 are formed in a shape of gradually enlarging upward in an overhang quantity from a peripheral sidewall outside surface. The exterior box 30 is formed in a shape and a dimension so that the packing cushioning material 10 is pressed in while the respective ribs 14 formed on the peripheral sidewall of the packing cushioning material 10 are being partially deformed. |
