PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction force mechanism which can easily change reaction force operating between a support member and a supported member without requiring excessive design precision, and a chair using the same.SOLUTION: A pivot 10 to be a first shaft member joined to a support member, an inner cylinder 12 to be a second shaft member joined to member to be supported, and an outer cylinder 14 to be a third shaft member are arranged coaxially in multi-layers in a radial direction. The pivot 10 and the inner cylinder 12 are joined by a first rubber-like elastic member 11, and the inner cylinder 12 and the outer cylinder 14 are joined by a second rubber-like elastic member 13. By regulating rotation of the outer cylinder 14 by an operation pin 19 to be a reaction force adjustment part, the reaction force by the second rubber-like elastic member 13 is added up to a base reaction force by the first rubber-like elastic member 11 to increase a total reaction force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
