PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required to manufacture a metallic member having a three-dimensional structure.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a metallic member 10 includes: a powder filling step of filling metallic powder 32 between a metallic base material 12 and a transparent tube 11 (holding member) surrounding the base material 12; a welding step of melting a part of the base material 12 and a part of the metallic powder 32 to generate a molten pool 36 (molten product) by radiating a high energy beam 22 toward the base material 12 and the metallic powder 32 from outside of the transparent tube 11 (holding member), and forming convex welding metal 14 integrally with the base material 12 to obtain the metallic member 10 by solidifying the molten pool 36 (molten product); and a removal step of removing the transparent tube 11 (holding member) and the residual metallic powder 32. |
