<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent quality deterioration in information recording on a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A first to a third running OPC steps are stored on a ROM13, which correct a recording power value of a light for irradiating an optical disk during recording, corresponding to each of multiple stages of information recording quality levels of the optical disk. A reflected light of the light irradiating the optical disk 1 is detected by a PD section 4 during recording information on the optical disk 1. Based on a comparison result of a calculated value based on the detected reflected light, and a specified value beforehand stored on the ROM13, a CPU10 discriminates the stage of the information recording quality levels of the optical disk 1, and chooses a running OPC step corresponding to the stage of the discriminated information recording quality level out of the first to the third running OPC steps stored in the ROM13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
