Disclosed are an information transmission method and device, used for determining redundancy versions corresponding to a plurality of continuous subframes to be a single redundancy version, such that the information sent after the plurality of continuous subframes are rate-matched is the same, and an opposite terminal may coherently merge information sent on said plurality of continuous subframes. The information transmission method comprises: when a local terminal serves as a sending terminal, said local terminal determining information repeatedly transmitted during a repeated transmission period containing a plurality of subframes; for each subframe of the repeated transmission period, for each subframe of the repeated transmission period, said local terminal determining the redundancy version corresponding to the subframe, and according to the redundancy version corresponding to the subframe, performing rate matching on the encoded bitstream of said information and sending the rate-matched bitstream to the opposite terminal, wherein the redundancy versions corresponding to the presence of a plurality of subframes are the same. |
