The invention discloses a double-needle sewing machine, which can detect movement of a sewing thread passing through a needle pole in motion or a static needle pole so as to detect abnormal conditions. The double-needle sewing machine (100) is switched to drive any one of two needle poles (110, 120) through an operation or setting and sewing through a needle (11, 12) of the selected needle pole. Two broken thread sensors (161, 162) are arranged in the double-needle sewing machine. The two broken thread sensors select and drive the sewing needle (11) of one needle pole (110) in an opposed way and stop driving the sewing needle (12) of the other needle pole , and further detect the motion of threads (U1, U2) respectively supplied by the two needle poles. A control device (90) of the sewing machine can judge the motion state of the double-needle sewing machine on the basis of the driving states of the two needle poles and the motion combination of the threads respectively detected by the two sensors. |
