A method and apparatus for realizing log transmission, the method comprising: querying forwarding information about a generated log from a cache; and according to the queried forwarding information, sending the generated log to one or more preconfigured log servers through a rapid forwarding channel. The method of the embodiments of the present invention solves, by querying forwarding information from a cache and using a rapid forwarding channel to send a generated log to one or more pre-set log servers, the problem that the performance of log transmission of a high-performance router cannot be satisfied in a SOCKET manner. Moreover, a storage performance problem that occurs in a log server due to the use of a single device as multiple devices during the adoption of a SOCKET manner is avoided. |
