摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize the output of a laser and to enable proper laser machining by detecting the beam by a beam diameter detecting device within a specific range on the optical axis, and processing the convergence or divergence state of the laser beam by a control means according to the detected value and adjusting the position onto the optical axis of a collimator lens. CONSTITUTION:Within the specific range on the optical axis, the beam diameter is detected and the convergence or divergence state of the laser beam is processed according to the detected value; and the position of the collimator lens on the optical axis is adjusted according to the arithmetic processing value to collimate the laser beam. Namely, a laser beam analytic device 39 moves within the specific range in the direction of the optical axis to detect the beam diameter of the laser beam within the specific range. Then the device is provided with a control means 51 which processes the convergence or divergence state of the laser beam to adjust the position of the collimated laser beam on the optical axis according to the arithmetic processing value. Consequently, the output of the laser beam can be stabilized.
