PURPOSE:To enhance productivity of artificial diamond or the like by providing metallic mold units to the upper and lower parts of a trestle fitted to the midway part of the lengthwise direction of a press frame and providing press capacity generators to the upper and lower end edges of the press frame. CONSTITUTION:Powdery raw materials 23 are incorporated respectively into respective cylinders 16 in metallic mold units 15 and the upper and lower anvils 19, 20 are fitted respectively to the upper and lower conical faces of the cylinders 16 via gaskets 18. In this state, when actuating the upper and lower press capacity generators 7, 11, the raw material 23 incorporated in the upper- stage metallic mold unit 15 is independently pressurized and connected between the press capacity generator 7 and a trestle 5, and also the raw material 23 incorporated in the lower-stage metallic mold unit 15 is independently pressurized and connected between the press capacity generator 11 and the trestle 5. For example, artificial diamond due to only the number of the metallic mold unit can be produced with one-time pressing. |
