<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a discrimination error corresponding to the state of an input signal by adaptively limiting a discrimination area by detecting inclination from input data and adaptively outputting the discrimination error corresponding to the found inclination. SOLUTION: A delayer 100 outputs inputted I channel data while delaying them just for the filtering time of a digital filter 102. A reference signal block processing circuit 104 outputs a reference signal block detecting signal for detecting the inclination. During the reference signal block detecting signal, an estimator and adaptive discrimination error detector 106 inputs the I channel data delayed by the delayer 100, discriminates symbol data based on the found inclination and outputs a discrimination error value. During the reference signal block detecting signal, while inputting this discrimination error value and the I channel data from the digital filter 102, an inclination detector 108 detects the inclination, accumulates it and outputs it to the estimator and adaptive discrimination error detector 106.</p> |
