摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently decode and display image data in macroblock units with small display memory capacity by allocating a memory area which has been read horizontally as a storage area for data of a next slice line one after another. SOLUTION: Data of a 1st slice line decoded in macrobock units is divided vertically by a vertical dividing means 1. A rotatior shift part 8 inputs a slice count value from a slice counter part 3, and rotates and shifts a read address. A read address inputted from a Read address generation part 7 is supplied to a display memory 5 as it is and data in the read address is read cut of the display memory 5. When the data is read out of the display memory 5, the area out of which the data has been read out is generated horizoratally. This area is allocated as a storage area for data of the next slice line in sequence.</p>
