PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance and control of a device without using consumables such as test paper by projecting light to urine, heated and made nebular, to measure the transmitted light quantity or scattered light quantity. SOLUTION: After urine is heated and made nebular, light is projected to the urine, and the transmitted light quantity or scattered light quantity is obtained to grasp albumin concentration in the urine, that is, urinary protein value. The angle of rotation of the urine before becoming nebular is measured. The urinary sugar value can thereby judged from the same sample. In a urinalysis device, a light sensor 3 detects light projected from a projection module 1 and transmitted through a sample cell 2. A lock-in amplifier 4 detects the phase of an output signal of the light sensor 3 referring to a modulation signal outputted from a signal generator 5 to the projection module 1 and outputs an electric signal corresponding to the transmitted light quantity. The projected light from the projection module 1 is pulse-modulated synchronously with the modulation signal from the signal generator 5. |
