<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color filter having a small film thickness, sharp pattern and excellent fastness against heat and light by an easy method. SOLUTION: This color filter is obtd. by using a color photosensitive material. The photosensitive material has two emulsion layers described below. The one emulsion layer contains a colored coupler which has one color of the three primary colors in a subtractive process of cyan, magenta and yellow and which produces a dye having one color of the two other primary colors by the coupling reaction with the oxidizing part of a developing agent. The other emulsion layer has different color sensitivity from that of the first emulsion layer and contains a colored coupler which has one color of the three primary colors in a subtractive process except the two primary colors, one is the color of the dye produced by the coupling reaction of the first colored coupler and the other is the color of the coupler before the coupling reaction, or has the same color as that of the dye produced by the coupling reaction, and which produces a dye of the color same as the color of the dye produced by the coupling reaction of the first colored coupler or a dye of the color except the two colors above described.</p> |
