<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melted salt electrolytic re-treatment method capable of recovering a higher-quality fuel component having no contamination of impurities such as a noble metal element, concerning re-treatment of a spent fuel by melted salt electrolysis. <P>SOLUTION: In this melted salt electrolytic re-treatment method, the melted salt is loaded into a conductive crucible, and electrolysis of the spent fuel is performed by using the crucible as a positive electrode, and the fuel is melted at the positive electrode, and a required component is recovered at a solid negative electrode. In the method, the solid negative electrode has a rod shape with an elliptic section, and the electrolysis is performed while rotating the negative electrode around the axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
