<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information for supporting failures or information on institutions to which various kinds of notifications are made on the occasion of a move in accordance with position information. <P>SOLUTION: A memory 150 stores in advance for each region information on shops in the region concerned which can support failures of a television apparatus 100 and information on institutions to which various kinds of notifications are made in the region concerned. A location decision section 202 decides the present position of the television apparatus 100 on the basis of a GPS signal received through a GPS signal processing section 201. A message processing section 20 searches the memory 150 on the basis of the decided present position, reads the information on failure support shops or the information on institutions to which notifications are made in the region concerned, and presents it on a display section 170.
