PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing coating agent that makes it possible to stably form a water repellent and oil repellent film which does not damage visibility of a substrate even if the film becomes thick, and to provided an article coated with the coating agent.SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing coating agent is provided that includes: (A) silane modified with a fluoro-oxyalkylene group-containing polymer and having a hydrolyzable group at one end and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensation product thereof; and (B) a silane modified with a fluoro-oxyalkylene group-containing polymer and having hydrolyzable groups at both ends and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensation product thereof, the mixing mass ratio of (A) constituent and (B) constituent being 20:80-60:40. The fluorine-containing coating agent has: a haze of 0.5 or less measured by a method described in JIS K7136 and at a film thickness of 20 mm of a cured film of the coating agent; and such an abrasion durability that a water contact angle after 2,000 times of reciprocal abrasion is 100° or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
