PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin film having a high gas barrier property even in high humidity, and capable of being industrially inexpensively produced. SOLUTION: This gas barrier film is the film having a gas barrier layer comprising (A) a polyvinyl alcohol and (B) an alkyl vinyl ether-maleic acid copolymer at a weight ratio of (97/3)-(20/80), formed at least on one surface of a thermoplastic resin film. The oxygen permeability coefficient of the gas barrier layer at 20 deg.C in 85%RH is <=1,000 mi.μm/m2.day.MPa.
