Gene encoding novel protocadherin-like protein

摘要

A gene encoding a novel protocadherin-like protein is isolated by screening a human kidney cDNA library. Also, a gene encoding a protein binding to the above protein is isolated. Because of seemingly having an anticancer function, these genes are useful in treating cancer or as diagnostic targets.
