PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preservation method of a panel for information display in which the possibility of the decrease in the sharpness of an information display state is thoroughly eliminated even after the panel for information display is put into a nonuse state for a relatively long time. SOLUTION: The invention is the preservation method for the panel for information display in which information is displayed by sealing at least two kinds of display media 3 varying in optical reflectivity and electrostatic charging characteristics into the aerial space between two substrates 1 and 2, at least one of which is transparent, and applying an electric field to the display media, thereby displaying the information by moving the display media, the preservation method in which at least the two kinds of the display media 3 (here the white display medium 3W and the black display medium 3B) are held in a mingled state at the time of the preservation.
