PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an optical lens that is highly transparent and ensures improved refractive index and toughness, and to provide an optical lens and an optical component. SOLUTION: The composition of the optical lens is a transparent composite body in which particles of tetragonal zirconia with a dispersion particle diameter of 1 to 20nm are dispersed in a resin.
