PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of image quality by improving the positional accuracy among a photoreceptor, an electrifying roller and a cleaning member. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the electrifying roller 20 which is rotatably arranged in contact with the photoreceptor 10 so as to charge the photoreceptor 10; and the cleaner 30 for removing foreign matters sticking on the surface of the charging roller 20. The cleaner 30 moves on a nearly straight line passing through the rotational center of the photoreceptor 10 and the rotational center of the charging roller 20, and the cleaner 30 is held so as to freely attach/detach to/from the charging roller 20, and the image forming apparatus includes holding members 40a and 40b for integrally holding the photoreceptor 10, the charging roller 20 and the cleaner 30.
