The hub has outer and inner cover units (16, 17) provided between a roller bearing and an axially provided area of a cover region (12). The cover units are provided with wave-like ramps at their surfaces such that outer diameter of the cover units is increased. The cover unit (17) is arranged such that it results to axial shifting of the cover area when the other cover unit (16) stands in contact with an axially deformable part (22). An independent claim is also included for a method of mounting a wheel hub. |
