PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductor in which a sensing pattern as well as a transparent conductive layer remaining in a non-conductive part can hardly be visually recognized.SOLUTION: There is provided a transparent conductor 100 including a transparent substrate 10, transparent conductive layer 16, and an optical adjustment layer 11 between the transparent substrate 10 and transparent conductive layer 16. The optical adjustment layer 11 has a first optical adjustment layer 13, second optical adjustment layer 14, and third optical adjustment layer 15 from the transparent substrate 10 side, and when the refractive indices of the first optical adjustment layer 13, second optical adjustment layer 14, and third optical adjustment layer 15 are n1, n2, and n3, respectively, the following formulas (1), (2), and (3) are satisfied.
