PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain precision in a traffic index calculated with a sense signal of a vehicle sensor as original data.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a traffic index calculation device. The traffic index calculation device includes an acquisition part which acquires a constant which is pre-stored and is used for calculating a sensing section index described below, a non-sensing section index described below and a sensing signal of one or a plurality of sensing points contained in a road section; a calculation part 71 for calculating the sensing section index from a constant and the sensing signal of the sensing point; and an adjustment part 73 which adjusts the constant so that the sensing section index and the non-sensing section index satisfy a specified relation ship. The sensing section index is a traffic index of a road section in which data which is original data for calculation is a sensing signal of a vehicle sensor contained in the road section. The non-sensing section index is a traffic index of the road section in which original data for calculation is non-sensing information other than the sensing signal of the vehicle sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
