PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which has rich capability to express information and thus offers improved merchantability.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 1 of the present invention includes; a display 2 that emits first display light L1 representing a display image; a combiner 30 that receives the first display light L1 on a principal surface thereof to display a virtual image; movement means 33 for moving the combiner 30 between a first position for displaying a virtual image and a second position for not displaying a virtual image; and a light source 320 that emits second display light L2 into an incident port 301 of the combiner 30 when located at the second position. With such an arrangement, the display 2 emits the first display light L1 to display a virtual image V when the combiner 30 is at a first position and, when the virtual image V is not needed, the combiner 30 is moved to the second position and the light source 320 is allowed to emit the second display light L2 to make notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
