PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a fire retardant property even when a resin hollow part is included in a frame body or a stile body of a sash.SOLUTION: A fireproofing mechanism 33 of a fixed window 1 includes a frame body 6, and a sash 8 housed in the frame body 6. A resin vertical frame member 23 is provided between a metallic vertical frame member 22 of the frame body 6 and a panel holding metal fitting 10 of double-glazed glass 9 of the sash 8. Two resin hollow parts 23a, 23b of the resin vertical frame member 23 are formed in parallel to each other, between the metallic vertical frame member 22 and the panel holding metal fitting 10. A heat foaming material 30 is installed inside the resin hollow part 23a close to the panel holding metal fitting 10, and is fixed with a bolt 31 on a wall part 23e that partitions a boundary with the other resin hollow part 23b. Each of the resin hollow parts 23a, 23b is installed along an entire length in a longer-side direction of the metallic vertical frame member 22 and the panel holding metal fitting 10, and the heat foaming material 30 is also installed along an entire length of the resin hollow parts 23a, 23b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
