PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a production method of an easy opening can lid where a partial of the can lid is opened easily with a hand. SOLUTION: In a time of forming an opening piece of being easily opened with a hand on a lid 1 of steel with adhering synthetic resin films on both faces, the steel base material is contained with one or both of 0.01 to 0.2wt% P and Sn, the resin covering on the above is made as 10 to 100μm thickness, >=100% breaking elongation, each shoulder radius of a punch and a die of machining die is made as 0.1 to 1.6mm, the clearance is made as -1.6 to 0.3mm, the guide groove is machined in <=100μm remaining thickness, after then, return- pressing is executed. Therefore, the resin covering film is not broken and the excellent can opening property can be obtained.
