PURPOSE: A silicon emulsion type aqueous gel cosmetic composition has good feeling in use, effectively controls the removal of sebum and maintains natural and clean make-up for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition comprises: 1.0 to 15.0 wt.% of porous granular silica, an acrylate/acrylamide copolymer, volatile and non-volatile silicon, a moisturizing agent, and an emulsifier. The volatile silicon includes 1.0 to 15.0 wt.% of cyclomethicone and the non-volatile silicon includes 1.0 to 10.0 wt.% of dimethicone having the viscosity of 5 to 20 cs or methylphenylpolysiloxane having the viscosity of 50 to 100 cs. The mixing ratio of the volatile silicon to the non-volatile silicon is in the range of 60-90:10-40. The emulsifier has the HLB value of 3.0 to 8.0 and includes 0.2 to 3.0 wt.% of at least one selected from the group consisting of silicon glycol copolymer, lauryl methicone polyol, cyclomethicone and dimethicone copolyol. The moisturizing agent includes 1.0 to 15.0 wt.% of a compound selected from the group consisting of 1,3-butyleneglycol, concentrated glycerin, propyleneglycol and betaine.
