PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to transmit a network synchronous signal to a terminal connected to an ATU-R by using a network synchronous information transferred to the ATU-R. CONSTITUTION: An ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) transfer network(30) transmits a network synchronous information and video/audio signals to an ATU-R(32, ADSL Transmission Unit at the Customer premises end) from an ATU-C(ADSL Transmission Unit at the Central office end) in ADSL transfer system. The ATU-R demodulates the transferred network synchronous information and video/audio signals, and transmits the network synchronous information to the customer's terminal by every super frame. A terminal processor(36) extracts a network synchronous signal from the network synchronous information transferred from the ATU-R, and outputs the video/audio signals to the customer's terminal by real time on the basis of the extracted network synchronous signal. A customer network(34) is connected between the ATU-R and the terminal processor, and converts the signals from the ATU-R to signals suitable to the terminal processor. Therefore, the terminal provides the sampled video/audio information service of high quality by real time.
