<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the pulsation of a plurality of high pressure fuel pumps, when having different discharge properties due to individual differences. <P>SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program which includes a step S100 of calculating an actual discharge amount Q(A) of the pump A and an actual discharge amount Q(B) of the pump B, steps S110, S120 of calculating a fuel pressure change component ΔP(A) of the pump A and a fuel pressure change component ΔP(B) of the pump B, a step S140 of calculating an average value ΔP(AV) of a fuel pressure change when the dispersion of fuel pressure is greater (YES in S130), a step S150 of calculating a discharge amount correction component ΔQ(A) of the pump A using the ΔP(AV), a step S160 of calculating a new instructed discharge amount Q'(A) in accordance with the ΔQ(A), a step S170 of calculating a discharge amount correction component ΔQ (B) of the pump B using the ΔP(AV), and a step S180 of calculating a new instructed discharge amount Q'(B) in accordance with the ΔQ(B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
