PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of preventing cracks from occurring at a boundary part between a support substrate and a fuel electrode in the reduction treatment.SOLUTION: In this fuel cell, a support substrate 10 is configured by including magnesium oxide MgO and first oxide ceramic. A fuel electrode 20 is configured by including nickel Ni and second oxide ceramic. An intermediate layer 15 is interposed on a boundary part between the support substrate 10 and the fuel electrode 20. The intermediate layer 15 includes: (Mg, Ni)O which is a solid solution of MgO and NiO; first oxide ceramic; and second oxide ceramic. A space occupation rate of particles of a substance group consisting of "MgO, Ni, and the solid solution (Mg, Ni)O" in the intermediate layer 15" is larger than a space occupation rate of the particles of the substance group in the support substrate 10, and is larger than a space occupation rate of the particles of the substance group in the fuel electrode 20. |
