PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress corrosion of a furnace wall and further to suppress attachment of molten ash to the furnace wall with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A combustion burner in which a fuel gas obtained by mixing a solid fuel and air is jetted into a furnace from a jetting port, includes: a fuel supply pipe disposed along a vertical direction and having a curved portion for curving a fuel gas flow in a horizontal direction; an upstream side plate disposed at a downstream side in the fuel gas flowing direction with respect to the curved portion and dividing a flow channel of a fuel supply pipe into two of an upper part and a lower part; and a downstream side plate disposed at a downstream side in the fuel gas flowing direction with respect to the upstream side plate, and dividing the flow channel into two of a furnace wall side close to a wall of the furnace and a furnace inner side close to the inside of the furnace. When the flow channel is observed from the jetting port, a cross-sectional area orthogonal to the fuel gas flowing direction of the flow channel is divided into four by a downstream end portion of the upstream side plate and an upstream end portion of the downstream side plate, and a ratio of a cross-sectional area of an upper and furnace wall side to the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the upper and lower furnace wall sides, is smaller than a ratio of a cross-sectional area of an upper and furnace inner side to the sum of the cross-sectional area of the upper and lower furnace inner sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
