PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover mist generated as a liquid is discharged from a recording head and concurrently inhibit deterioration of the recording quality.SOLUTION: A recording device 1 includes: a recording head 7 which discharges a liquid while reciprocating relative to a recorded medium P; a mist recovery part 19 having an opening part 22 extending in a reciprocating direction B of the recording head 7; and a change part 23 which changes an opening amount of the opening part 22 in the reciprocating direction B according to a position of the recording head 7 in the reciprocating direction B. The recording device 1 has such a structure to efficiently recover mist generated as the liquid is discharged from the recording head 7 while inhibiting deterioration of the recording quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
