PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle and a preform capable of reducing the overall weight by reducing thickness of a plug part without changing an existing flat plate-like gripper.SOLUTION: A bottle 10 pinched between a pair of flat plate-like gripper 30 comprises: an opening 12, which has an outer screw 13; a plug part 15 having a coupler 16 and a support ring 17; and a bottle body 11. A recessed annular surface 18 is formed on an outer surface between the coupler 16 of the plug part 15 and the support ring 17. A curved line 18a constituting the recessed annular surface 18 comprises an upper abutting point 31 and a lower abutting point 32 which abut an upper end and a lower end of the gripper 30. Distance between the recessed annular surface 18 and a plug part inner surface 15a is 1.000 to 1.985 mm. |
