The present invention relates to a novel platinum complex which is represented by chemical formula 1, a production method thereof, and an organic electroluminescent device including the same. According to the present invention, the organic electroluminescent device comprising the novel platinum complex exhibits high light emitting characteristics even under high brightness, while having high efficiency and low power consumption.
