PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation stop device usable for both left and right sides by one device.SOLUTION: An oscillation stop device 20 includes a roller support mechanism 21 equipped with a rotary roller having rotary axes parallel to each other, a support 44 for supporting the roller support mechanism 21, a fulcrum, a rotary table rotatably disposed with respect to the fulcrum, and a base 50 having the fulcrum 44 fixed on the rotary table. The base 50 includes a fulcrum, a rotary table, and an indexing mechanism, and the roller support mechanism 21 is supported on the fulcrum 44 so as be at a position biased to the base 50. This oscillation stop device 20 is configured such that by the indexing mechanism, the rotary axis of the rotary roller and the spindle axis of a lathe are set parallel to each other, and the roller support mechanism 21 is indexed to two indexing positions line-symmetrical around the rotary axis of the rotary table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
