PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system that enables more radio devices to perform simultaneous communication using a polarization technique.SOLUTION: A radio communication system 1 comprises: a transmitter 2 that includes carrier wave generation units 22a, 22b for generating a first carrier wave and a second carrier wave which have frequencies different from each other, and a rotary wave generation unit 24 for generating a rotary wave on the basis of the first and second carrier waves; and a receiver 3 that includes a rotary wave demodulation unit 33 for selectively demodulating a radio wave having a desired rotary frequency on the basis of a result of multiplying the received rotary wave by a sine wave having the same frequency as a desired carrier wave and a sine wave having the same frequency as the desired rotary frequency, and a rotary phase determination unit 34 for determining the phase shift of the rotary wave received from the output of the rotary wave demodulation unit 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
