[Problem] To provide an air bag device which is capable of achieving stable deployment behaviour of an air bag, while having a simple structure. [Solution] An air bag used in an air bag device according to the present invention is provided with: a main bag which deploys in front of a passenger sat in a seat, and which restricts forward movement of the passenger; a sub-bag positioned at at least one side of the main bag; a main-bag panel which is disposed inside the main bag, and which restricts the deployment shape of the main bag; and a sub-bag panel which is disposed inside the sub-bag, and which restricts the deployment shape of the sub-bag. The main-bag panel and the sub-bag panel are disposed such that, in a see-through view of the main-bag panel and the sub-bag panel, the positions thereof in the front-rear direction, the positions thereof in the vertical direction, and/or the inclination angles thereof when viewed from the side surface are different from each other. |
