APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT CAPABLE OF GENERATING AMMONIUM NITRATE

The present invention relates to a wastewater treatment apparatus and method which can treat wastewater via a bio-membrane reactor and a membrane distillation process, and also can generate ammonium nitrate by inducing partial nitrification reaction of ammonia nitrogen (NH_4-N) and combination reaction of ammonium ions (NH_4^+) and nitrate (NO_3^-). The wastewater treatment apparatus capable of generating ammonium nitrate according to the present invention comprises: a bioreactor which provides a space for nitrification reaction of ammonia nitrogen; a nitrification microorganism gel bead which is provided inside the bioreactor, and partially nitrifies part of ammonia nitrogen (NH_4_-N), contained in raw water, into nitric nitrogen (NO_3-N); a forward osmosis membrane device which extracts moisture contained in raw water of the bioreactor via a forward osmosis process; and a membrane distillation device which is fed with treated water of the bioreactor, and removes moisture of the treated water of the bioreactor via a membrane distillation process.
