A dual camera apparatus in a mobile communication terminal is provided to form image sensor arrays on upper and lower surfaces of an image processor for obtaining video information by performing image processing of video signals of each image sensor array which receives incident light and converts the light into the video signal before outputting the video signal, thereby efficiently utilizing the space of the mobile communication and making the mobile terminal be compact by simplifying the circuit. A dual camera apparatus in a mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: the first image sensor array(301a) which has plural image sensors, receives incident light by using the image sensors and converts the light into a video signal; the second image sensor array(301b) which has plural image sensors, receives incident light by using the image sensors and converts the light into a video signal; and an image processor(307). The first image sensor array(301a) is installed on the first surface of the image processor(307). The second image sensor array(301b) is installed on the second surface of the image processor(307). The image processor(307) selectively switches a signal and a power connection path for the first and second image sensor array(301a,301b), and performs image processing of the video signal of the first and second image sensor arrays(301a,301b).
