PURPOSE:To quickly and accurately establish reception frame synchronization by replacing frame data other than a frame synchronization pattern with a prescribed pattern and transmitting the replaced pattern for a period till synchronization is established. CONSTITUTION:While reception frame synchronization is not established for both its own equipment and a transmitter opposite thereto, a control section 1 sets a gate circuit 24 to the position of a 2nd shift register 23. Then the control section 1 loads frame synchronizing signals '0000', '1110' representing that the reception frame synchronization of its own equipment is not established alternately to the 2nd shift register 23 for each frame in this state and loads a dummy signal comprising all '0s' thereto. Thus, frame data comprising the frame synchronizing signal '0000' and the dummy data of all '0s' and frame data comprising the frame synchronizing signal '1110' and the dummy data of all '0s' are alternately sent to the transmission opposite to its own equipment for each frame. |
