PURPOSE:To easily execute the change of set or the like and to improve operability by controlling the images of plural transmissive originals to be formed on a transfer material all together and the assignment of position on the transfer material where the respective images are arranged based on the signal of a detection means. CONSTITUTION:A mode in which the images of plural films are formed on one paper together, that means, a solid printing mode is selected first. In the case that the solid printing mode is selected, a CPU 200 as the center of an arithmetic operation action and a control action decides which position of the used paper the images of the respective films are arranged when the total number of films, the size of the paper and the number of solid printing sheets are inputted. In the case that the image is formed while controlling a solid printing action, the first film is automatically exchanged with the second film by an automatic changer and the image is started to be read by an image reader after the image of the first film is formed on the paper. Then, the paper is not sent to a fixing device and the toner image of the second film is transferred from the surface of an image carrier in the same way as the image forming action of the first film. |
