PURPOSE: A feed additive composition for ruminants comprising persimmon skin, barley bran and active carbon is provided. It exhibits controlling moisture, reinforcing inorganic components, increasing an intake amount of feed, reducing the use of antibiotics, increasing efficiency of feed and improving meat quality. CONSTITUTION: Persimmon skin, barley bran and active carbon are dried in a drier at 25 to 35deg.C for about 2 hr in the first stage and at 45deg.C or more for 20 hr or more in the second stage. After drying, 100 parts by weight of a mixture comprising 20 to 80% by weight of the persimmon skin and 20 to 80% by weight of the barley bran is blended with 0.5 to 7 parts by weight of activated carbon, ground and molded.
