PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a wireless tag, having a common dipole antenna length and adjust the length of the dipole antenna of the wireless tag, when using it so that it matches the wavelength of the radio waves propagating in a substance that is mounted with the wireless tag. SOLUTION: As the wireless tag 1, one having an IC chip 11 and a dipole antenna 12 composed of antenna patterns 12a, 12b on a dielectric base 15. The length of each antenna pattern of the dipole antenna 12 is set to a length to make matching of the dipole antenna with the IC chip that becomes proper in air at manufacturing. When using with the wireless tag mounted on a certain substance, both the opposite ends of each antenna pattern of the dipole antenna to feed points 16a, 16b are cut to adjust the length of each antenna pattern so as to match with the wavelength of radio waves propagating on the wireless tag mounting substance.
