CASE FOR CONNECT ELECTRIC CABLES

A case for connecting electric cables is provided to improve the reliability of installation by maximally restraining deformation or position change of an insulating plate after installation. A case for connecting electric cables(C1,C2) includes a case body(2), a lid(B), a cover plate(8), and an insulating plate. The case body has a connection space(4) for connecting the electric cables and is buried underground. The lid is separately mounted on a top of the case body to open and close the connection space. The cover plate is suspended on a stepped surface(6) formed along an inner circumference of the connection space to isolate a connection point(P) of the electric cables and the lid from each other. The insulating plate is composed of an insulating pad and fixed to face a bottom of the cover plate to form a flat electric insulating layer between the connection point of the electric cables and the lid.
