PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a vehicle capable of reducing shift shock in a state that a torque converter is locked up, while suppressing delay in a transmission time, in a driving device for a vehicle including the torque converter with a lock-up function and an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: A driving device 1 for a vehicle has a release control start delaying portion 10 for delaying start of control to bring a release-side engagement element into a released state, until vibration along a rotation axis of an input shaft 41 is attenuated, in a case when a characteristic value of the vibration along the rotation axis of the input shaft 41 detected by an input shaft rotation speed sensor 44 is over a specified value when a recognized shift state is changed by change of accelerator stroke Sta, in a state that an engine 2 and the input shaft 41 are directly connected by a lock-up clutch 34, and a precharge starting portion 10 for starting precharge before the vibration of the rotation speed of the input shaft 41 is attenuated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
